Vision

To mould a Homoeopath in the speciality of child health through a value based, research oriented teaching for enabling him to practice Homoeopathy in Paediatrics with competence and its trendy developments.

Mission

• To develop competence in child health including applied embryology & genetics, developmental milestones, nutritional needs, behavioral disorders and removing constitutional dyscrasia aiming at a healthy generation.
• To develop skill in handling paediatric diagnostic procedures.
• To develop knowledge and skill to identify and manage the children with learning disabilities, developmental anomalies and differently abled conditions.

Program Outcome

At the end of BHMS program, a student must
PO1 integerate knowledge of subjects learnt at degree level for skillful application in Homoeopathic practice.
PO2 be able to undertake homoeopathic research in areas of emerging health issues.
PO3 be competent enough to teach homoeopathic education to the younger generation
PO4 be capable of rendering the medical aid to the society as per the principles of Homoeopathy
PO5 develop professional competency in Homoeopathy and in their area of specialisation

Program Specific Outcomes

Post Graduate students in Homoeopathy Paediatrics should:
PSO1 acquire knowledge to assess the health status of the children based on the principles of homoeopathy.
PSO2 be capable to provide therapeutic assistance to children, and frame strategies to create awareness among the parents on healthy life style.
PSO3 develop more knowledge and understanding on child remedies in homoeopathy and their utilization.
PSO4 develop competency in clinical examination of paediatric cases and its diagnosis.
PSO5 develop competency in identification of learning disabilities and behavioural disorders prevalent among the children.
PSO6 be able to prescribe and interpret relevant investigations depending on the case
